As for those gaming on a PS4, expect a similar situation. Pre-loading is available on both consoles, so make sure you have enough space ready to go. Watch Dogs 2 on PS4 will be 24.8GB, and clocks in at 30.78GB on Xbox One.

As for you PC gamers, you’ll just have to wait a few more days. Watch Dogs 2 has been delayed to Nov. 29. That being said, the PC version will feature a whole list of extras that the console versions will not have, including no FPS cap, multiple windowed mode options and more.

First, let’s make sure you’ve actually set up automatic download of updates.

Fixing clogged updates
If you’ve gone through the steps above, things should be working properly. Still having problems? We found that clearing our console’s alternate MAC address — even if we didn’t set a manual one to begin with — actually solved the problem. Here’s how to do it:
- Press the Xbox button to open the guide.
- Select Settings > All settings.
- Select Network >Advanced Settings.
- Underneath Alternate MAC address, select Clear.
- Select Reboot when prompted.
Hopefully, clogged game updates will be a thing of the past.
